Maman Poulet (vie Expad.ie) points to RTE blogs by
Charlie Bird and others, and notes readers can't leave comments. But why? If the Irish Times and the Irish Independent can handle comment (some with  comments pre-moderated and some not), why can't RTE?

  1. Perhaps because the people ‘behind’ the blogs aren’t the people behind the blogs….

  2. Actually, at least one of the Irish Times blogs pre-mods comments; the “On The Record” music blog.

  3. Thanks Justin, I’ve fixed that.
Markham, maybe, but I’d still go with the one name across the RTE blogs being the uploader account.

  4. All Irish Times blogs are pre-moderated

  5. Actually, your own blog is pre-moderated too, isn’t it?
